A instalação do VirtualBox no Lubuntu 15.04 falha

Estou tentando instalar o VirtualBox no Lubuntu 15.04 e estou tendo um problema com ele.

Quando executo VBoxManage --version , obtenho a saída:

Seu erro indica que gcc - o compilador C GNU - não está presente em seu sistema. Para obtê-lo, você deve instalar o build-essential , que é um pacote meta que extrairá o compilador e a maioria das bibliotecas padrão necessárias para compilar as coisas como dependências.

Execute este comando para instalá-lo: sudo apt-get install build-essential
