A instalação de kernel-wedge usando o seguinte comando resolveu o problema:
sudo apt-get install kernel-wedge
Eu sou novo no Ubuntu e estou tentando usar o comando fakeroot debian/rules clean , mas com erros. Aqui está um pouco do que é mostrado:

cd /home/clmoore3/ubuntu-trusty/debian/build && kernel-wedge gen-control > /home/clmoore3/ubuntu-trusty/debian/control
/bin/bash: kernel-wedge: command not found
make: *** [debian/control] Error 127
