dependências não satisfeitas, linux-server depende: linux-headers-server, mas a inicialização está cheia

Olá, tenho um problema com dependências não atendidas, mas não posso consertar isso.

$ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 linux-server : Depends: linux-headers-server (= 3.2.0.45.54) but 3.2.0.49.59 is installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

Eu tentei:

$ sudo apt-get -f install
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Correcting dependencies... Done
........
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-3.2.0-49-generic_3.2.0-49.75_amd64.deb (--unpack):
 failed in write on buffer copy for backend dpkg-deb during './boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-49-generic': No space left on device
No apport report written because the error message indicates a disk full error
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Eu também tentei:

$ sudo dpkg --configure -a

Mas não funciona, não há espaço sobrando. Então eu tentei remover algumas imagens do Linux, mas:

$ sudo apt-get purge linux-headers-3.2.0-37 linux-headers-3.2.0-37-generic linux-image-3.2.0-37-generic
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution)

Alguém pode me ajudar?

// Atualização: Removido o antigo linux-header- * e linux-images- * com o dpkg, mas:

Uma solução que encontrei para funcionar bem é esta:

Remova os pacotes ofensivos:

sudo apt-get remove -f linux-server linux-headers-server linux-image-server

Em seguida, reinstale-os:

sudo apt-get install linux-server linux-headers-server linux-image-server
