Se você conseguir efetuar login no sistema Ubuntu instalado, abra um terminal e execute sudo update-grub
para permitir que o GRUB atualize suas entradas.
Eu originalmente tinha o Windows 7 e o Ubuntu 12.04 instalados. Depois que eu instalei o Windows preview em uma partição lógica, o gerenciador de inicialização do Windows mostrou apenas o Windows 7 e o Windows 8, não havia opção de iniciar o Ubuntu, então eu reinstalei o GRUB (seguindo este procedimento mas agora o GRUB mostra apenas o Ubuntu 12.04.
