Eu sei que existem várias postagens sobre isso, mas não consigo descobrir como consertar meu gerenciador de inicialização lendo os fóruns. Eu tentei o GRUB e o GRUB2 e não consegui inicializar o Windows XP com êxito. O sistema de arquivos ainda está lá, mas quando eu tento carregar o Windows a partir do GRUB, eu só obtenho uma tela em branco e, em seguida, o GRUB é reinicializado ... Alguma idéia é sobre o que eu posso fazer?

Eu tentei o super GRUB2, mas apenas os kernels linux foram listados ...

Eu acredito que o problema que eu estava tendo é que eu tinha o grub instalado no começo da minha partição do Windows, assim como no meu drive principal? Também tenho o GRUB 1 e 2 instalado, que, segundo minha compreensão do grub, não acredito que seja uma boa ideia. Eu segui as instruções deste fórum para desinstalar o GRUB e o GRUB2 e reinstalar um novo GRUB2. Problema que tive em seguida foi que o Windows não iria arrancar ... Eu só iria pegar um cursor piscando. Eu usei o cd do Windows para inicializar no console e usei o comando FIXBOOT. Eu previ que isso eliminaria o GRUB, mas deixaria o GRUB intacto e agora eu posso inicializar o Windows e o Lubuntu.
Se você usou o GParted para particionar o disco, o sistema Windows terá um erro que precisa de chkdsk
para ser reparado. Eu fiz isso com um disco XP. Não importa qual disco. Eu tenho Home Edition no meu netbook e usei um disco XP Pro para executar um prompt de comando. No prompt, digite chkdsk c: /f /r
. As opções localizam setores defeituosos e os reparam.
