ufw e antivírus estão desativados:

The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-mail.outlook.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.
Este erro está presente apenas em máquinas baseadas em Linux, Windows e Mac sem erros presentes:
telnet smtp-mail.outlook.com 587
Trying 98.124.245.24...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
Além disso:
telnet smtp-mail.outlook.com 25

E ping 98.124.245.24 funciona
Qual poderia ser o problema?
O endereço resolvido parece ser o problema, 98.124.245.24 não está funcionando para mim também. No entanto telnet 40.100.29.34 587 funciona bem. 40.100.29.34 é a resolução de endereços IP para smtp-mail.outlook.com na minha máquina. Você deve verificar o ip resolvido do servidor no Mac também.
