Não é possível instalar o VLC no Ubuntu 17.04 [duplicado]

É nisso que estou correndo. Para ser honesto, sou novo no Ubuntu e no Linux em geral, então qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada.

Você pode instalar o VLC com snap . Parece se encaixar desde que você tem um problema de dependência.

snap install vlc

Como apontado em this thread , se seus arquivos estiverem armazenados em uma unidade dedicada, você poderá instalar o VLC com o sinalizador --classic .

snap install --classic vlc

Eu apenas tentei sem --classic e tive problemas de permissão ao acessar arquivos do meu segundo disco rígido no VLC. A bandeira fez o truque. Pensei que poderia ser útil apontar.
