Problema após reinstalar o firefox

Depois de desinstalar o firefox usando sudo apt-get purge firefox e excluindo .mozilla/firefox/ no diretório inicial. Tentei desinstalar / reinstalar novamente muitas vezes, mas sempre recebi esta mensagem quando corri firefox -v

XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /opt/firefox/libxul.so:
libdbus-glib-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.

Alguém tem alguma idéia de como resolver esse problema? Estou usando o Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

UPDATE: Eu tentei remover o diretório / opt / firefox / e foi isso que consegui quando executei sudo apt-get install firefox

Confirme qual o software Firefox instalado ...

dpkg -l *firefox* | grep ii

Em seguida, desinstale o Firefox atual ...

sudo apt-get purge firefox-mozilla-build

E instale a nova versão ...

sudo apt-get install firefox
sudo apt-get install libdbus-glib-1-2 # use only if install fails, then retry install
