Qualidade / força do sinal do modem Indisponível no ModemManager 16.04 LTS

Estou usando um modem MC7403 em 16.04 LTS. A qualidade do sinal retornado pelo gerenciador de modem "mmcli -m 0" retorna 0, assim como o gerenciador de rede, como posso obter a intensidade do sinal para atualizar corretamente?

Após a conexão inicial, ela está correta, mas após 30 segundos ela retorna 0. A conexão com o ISP e a Internet ainda funciona, mas não consigo mais monitorar a intensidade do sinal.
Aparece modemmanger começar a olhar em / dev / ttyUSB0 em vez de / dev / ttyUSB2 Aos 30 segundos, há também esse erro no log do Network Manager

A resposta curta é 16.04.1 kernel LTS 4.4. * não é novo o suficiente e não suporta as interfaces qmi corretamente. Você precisa atualizar o kernel ou usar o Ubuntu 16.10 ou mais recente. Além disso, o modemmanger provavelmente precisa ser atualizado. Eu usei PPAs fornecidos por Aleksander para fazê-lo funcionar em 16.04 LTS a curto prazo.

Longa resposta Consegui coletar os registros acima usando este método Debuging .

Coletei novos logs a pedido de um dos desenvolvedores da libmbim. De que ele podia ver como pode ser visto acima que ele usando AT + PPP. Aleksander sugeriu que eu precisasse de um novo kernel e o modemmanager tentando fazer isso funcionar.

Algumas notas no modem. Usando AT! USBCOMP? Eu era capaz de ver que esses modems onde não configurados para mbim só qmi. Eu tentei o mbim no 16.04 LTS, mas ele ainda não funcionava e requeria um gerenciador de kernel e de modem mais recente.

A força do sinal de relatório não pode preocupá-lo, mas não usar as interfaces corretas também limitará sua velocidade, pelo menos no meu caso.

Quando rodando com AT + PPP eu estava ficando com 35Mbps e 18Mbps para cima. Usando as interfaces LTE, estou obtendo 35-45 Mps Down e 23-29 Mbps Up
