Mqtt-spy não abrindo

Question

Estou tentando instalar o mqtt-spy, mas ele simplesmente não abre. Eu instalei java8 e java9, e quando eu uso o comando:

java -jar mqtt-spy-0.5.4-jar-with-dependencies.jar

Eu tentei os dois mqtt-spy-0.5.4-jar-with-dependencies.jar e mqtt-spy-1.0.0.jar .

Eles iniciam normalmente após a instalação do pacote openjfx no Ubuntu 16.04 LTS com o OpenJDK 1.8.0_131. A instalação do JavaFX é recomendada na página wiki .
