Como instalar o libcairo2 (= 1.12.0) em 12.04?

Eu quero instalar libcairo2 (> = 1.12.0) no meu 12.04 LTS . Eu preciso deste pacote para monodevelop package. Alguma idéia?

monodevelop packages dependem de libcairo2 version 1.12.0 ou maior, mas Ubuntu 12.04 tem 1.10.2-6 version (você pode ver aqui ) então você tem que baixar manualmente e instalar a partir de aqui ou aqui .

  wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/c/cairo/libcairo2_1.14.2-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
  sudo dpkg -i libcairo2_1.14.2-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb

faça o download da versão de acordo com a configuração do seu sistema ( 64bit ou 32bit ) se ainda mostrar qualquer dependência, tente o comando:

sudo apt-get install -f
