Eu sei que existem outras questões semelhantes, mas vou dar mais detalhes sobre o problema.
Quando eu tento desligar / reiniciar o sistema trava para sempre.
Isso aparece no Ubuntu 16.04 64bit. Ele é exibido na mesma máquina em um Kubuntu atualizado (14.04 »16.04),
em um novo Lubuntu instalado 16.04 e evento em um CD ao vivo (iso inicializado a partir do disco rígido com grml-rescue).
Ele se aplica se eu desligar / reiniciar a partir do ambiente de desktop e se eu fizer isso a partir do terminal.
O problema não está aparecendo em um Ubuntu 14.04 instalado no mesmo disco rígido.
fdisk
Eu tentei executar um fdisk na partição, mas nenhum erro foi encontrado.
irqpoll
Eu tentei adicionar o parâmetro irqpoll
na inicialização do sistema

Alguém resolveu desativando o suporte a legacy usb3 na bios, mas minha placa-mãe é muito antiga, não tenho suporte a usb3 na bios

Então as instruções de debbuging dizem para
sudo systemctl enable debug-shell
sudo halt
quando o desligamento trava você tem um console no VT9 CTRL + ALT + F9 onde você pode fazer
systemctl
para encontrar unidades com estado ativo
systemctl list-jobs
todos os trabalhos listados estão com o estado esperando , o único com estado em execução é upower.service
, que está em negrito.
Então eu desliguei o PC e comecei de novo, agora em um terminal que eu fiz
sudo systemctl list-jobs
A saída é
JOB UNIT TYPE STATE
1341 upower.service start running
1 jobs listed.
então eu tentei desligá-lo e desativá-lo para o futuro
sudo systemctl stop upower.service
sudo systemctl disable upower.service
sudo systemctl mask upower.service
Eu tentei novamente para shotdown, com o console de depuração
sudo systemctl enable debug-shell
sudo halt
mas o desligamento congela normalmente, mais agora eu não consigo nem acessar o shell de depuração.
Inicializando sem as opções do quiet splash grub eu posso ver que o desligamento trava na linha de saída
