Sou bem novo no Ubuntu, mas estou interessado em lidar com isso. Eu tentei instalar o Everpad no Ubuntu 14.04. O repositório foi adicionado ao source.list e a chave do repositório foi registrada também.
Existe uma dependência não satisfeita. Alguma idéia de como eu poderia resolver o problema da libgtk2.0-0? Até agora, abstive-me de forçar o apt-get a instalar o everpad independentemente das dependências que faltavam.
Meu Ubuntu atualiza diariamente e eu não tenho protegido o libgtk2.0-0 de ser atualizado no aptitude.

Eu resolvi o problema de dependência usando o aptitude para fazer o downgrade de 4 bibliotecas. A aptidão mostrará soluções para o problema e aceitará a que os downgrades resolveram.

O Everpad está funcionando bem agora.
