Meu computador começou a ser exibido na tela de boas-vindas. Não consigo iniciar uma sessão X local, mas ainda posso selecionar o resgate do GRUB e inicializar para um tty. Além disso, o sshd e o servidor xrdp parecem funcionar normalmente em um computador remoto.

executando sudo apt-get install fglrx e reinicializando parece ter resolvido o problema.
Nenhuma ideia de como isso foi corrompido para começar, no entanto, agradeço qualquer feedback.
Eu estava fazendo login remotamente de um macbook em minha rede local através de ssh e xrdp (via cliente MS e via área de trabalho remota chrome), perdi a conexão de rede e quando conectei um monitor notei que a tela estava desligada na tela de boas-vindas.
