Ubiquity parece travar a instalação de dual boot OSX

Question

Eu estou tentando dual-boot OSX (10.9 Mavericks) e Ubuntu 14.04, e o instalador da Ubiquity aparentemente parou nos últimos 20 minutos.

Redimensionei minha partição OSX usando o Utilitário de Disco no OSX e criei uma partição FAT lá. Então no Ubuntu do Live USB eu corri o instalador. Redimensionou esta partição um pouco (captura de tela) e confirmou. Depois disso, nada.

Há um erro fatal no log Ubiquity-dm aparentemente relacionado a alguma sessão X que não existe. Não tenho certeza se isso é relevante.

Versão Ubiquity 2.18.17.

Crie uma partição separada para a instalação do Ubuntu e instale o Ubuntu nela. Reinicie e instale o Ubuntu para criar uma mídia ao vivo, a fim de instalar o Ubuntu em seu sistema, também excluir a partição criado no OSX e mesclar esse espaço com a partição do Ubuntu usando o Gparted.
