Meu dispositivo de banda larga móvel não funciona no Ubuntu 13.10

Meu dispositivo de banda larga móvel 1c9e:6061 OMEGA TECHNOLOGY WL-72B 3.5G MODEM não funciona no Ubuntu 13.10 ou em qualquer distribuição baseada no Ubuntu. Mas funciona bem no Fedora 19 e no Fuduntu.

Encontrei duas soluções.TNX para respostas.

1º:

$ sudo su
# gedit /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf

DisableSwitching=0 i alterou 0 para 1 save.

# eject /dev/sr1 2> /dev/null cada vez que eu conecto o modem no PC.

2º: (é o melhor)

$ sudo su
# gedit /usr/bin/anyname

coloque o seguinte:

#!/bin/bash
echo 1c9e 6061 > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id

salvar saída

Nota: 1c9e 6061 é o ID do dispositivo obtido a partir do comando lsusb

# chmod +x /usr/bin/anyname
# gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/option.rules

coloque o seguinte:

ATTRS{idVendor}=="1c9e", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6061", RUN+="/usr/bin/anyname"
ATTRS{idVendor}=="1c9e", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6061", RUN+="/sbin/modprobe option"

salvar saída

Else pode usar o sakis3g para se conectar. Instale e execute o script sakis3g , ele abrirá uma janela interativa da GUI. Em seguida, forneça seus detalhes de banda larga móvel conforme necessário (conecte-se ao dispositivo 3G, usb, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM, apn, nome de usuário e senha, etc. nos respectivos campos.)
