Não é possível obter atualizações, e-mail e acesso à Internet, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Estou usando uma conexão sem fio.

O ícone de conexão no canto superior direito da tela indica que estou realmente conectado, mas o gerenciador de atualização, as conexões de e-mail e o acesso à Internet falham.

OS é o Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Estou usando meu computador de trabalho para acessar esse site de ajuda, esperando alguma orientação para esses problemas. Eu sou novo no Ubuntu e Linux como um todo. A última atualização indicada é 30 de julho.

Dito isto, quaisquer sugestões para etapas de diagnóstico ou quaisquer outras orientações úteis serão apreciadas.

Primeiro, verifique se o Network Manager não está gerenciando sua conexão, clique no applet de rede além do seu nome de usuário e verifique se "Ativar rede", "Com fio" e "Sem fio" estão ativos.

Além disso, parece que não há um conjunto de gateways, pode ser porque sua configuração de DHCP não está sendo capturada ou se você definiu manualmente sua configuração de rede. Se você definir sua configuração de rede Manual , deverá verificar se o gateway está preenchido ( você não precisa usar os mesmos valores da captura de tela, apenas veja quais valores devem ser preenchidos no caso de você usar o método manual ):

Se o seu método for Automático , tente desativar seu UFW.

Suas regras UFW estão descartando a maioria de seus pacotes, considere permitir todos os pacotes de saída ou pelo menos pacotes que portas de destino são desejadas, da sua pergunta você precisa permitir a saída para a porta TCP: 80 ( http) e entrada / saída UDP: 53 (DHCP). Você pode obter uma lista completa de portas em este artigo da Wikipédia . Se não tiver certeza, desative completamente as regras do UFW, verifique se você tem internet.

Você pode verificar quais pacotes estão sendo descartados fazendo um dmesg | grep UFW (pode ser uma lista bastante longa).
