Não é possível instalar o banshee devido a dependências não atendidas

Estou tentando instalar o Banshee no Ubuntu Software Center depois de instalar o VLC e o Clementine, mas estou com erros:

Você já tentou sudo apt-get -f install banshee ? O argumento -f deve instalar todas as dependências necessárias, juntamente com o programa real (isso é importante). É estranho que as dependências de um .deb não tenham sido instaladas.

Se isso não funcionar, você provavelmente deve verificar e ver quais repositórios você tem (abra a central de software, vá para editar e acesse as fontes de software). Você deve ter alguns e verificar se os campos corretos estão marcados.

É importante que a Canonical seja selecionada.
