Eu tenho o Ubuntu 17.04 instalado com o KDE Plasma (Kubuntu). Eu corri do-release-upgrade e parece funcionar bem, não tenho erros. Mais tarde, quando eu corri lsb_release -a versão stills 17.04

Depois de algumas pesquisas, vejo que o comando
kdesudo "do-release-upgrade -m desktop -f DistUpgradeViewKDE"
Deve ser executado quando se trabalha no KDE.
Rebooted, lsb_release - ainda é o mesmo e a versão do kubuntu ainda é 9.
