Parece que há um problema de rede, mas acabei de instalar 17.10.1 do netboot mini.iso, e a rede parecia tudo bem então. Estou usando uma ethernet com fio.
Se eu pressionar Esc durante a inicialização e inicializar o modo de recuperação, depois de muitas mensagens, recebo um menu de recuperação. Lá eu seleciono "retomar a inicialização normal" e a inicialização é concluída com êxito, e eu posso entrar. No entanto, é apenas linha de comando, e não há startx ou gdm ou outro jeito (que eu saiba) para começar o X.
