Estou trabalhando em uma máquina HP com o Ubuntu 16.04 instalado e com o kernel 4.10.0-42-generic # 46 ~ 16.04.1-Ubuntu. Eu quero usar um Huawei ME906s-158 para se conectar a uma rede móvel, o que infelizmente não está funcionando.
Se eu conectar o dispositivo, às vezes posso usá-lo como esperado com a ferramenta de gerenciamento de rede gráfica. Mas depois de alguns minutos (a maioria depois de apenas alguns segundos), a conexão desaparece de repente sem nenhuma mensagem de erro. O gerenciador de rede mostra o dispositivo em conexões com fio como Ethernet Network e desconectado, e está esmaecido. Frequentemente, ele não é detectado como dispositivo de banda larga móvel e é mostrado como uma conexão com fio, conforme descrito anteriormente.

v) O comportamento pareceu ocorrer de repente. Eu comprei esses módulos há cerca de um mês e tentei verificar se eles estão com defeito ou OK, e não me lembro de ter experimentado um comportamento semelhante. Ocorreu ontem depois que as cartas foram armazenadas no meu armário.

viii) Eu não estou ligado ao gerenciador de rede, e tentei configurar as conexões em seus arquivos diretamente, mas o mesmo comportamento ocorreu. Até agora não instalei outro software para configurar a minha conexão. Eu deveria tentar? Não posso fazer isso sem instalar outras toneladas de bibliotecas?
ix) Esse comportamento estranho ocorre com três dispositivos do mesmo tipo e três cartões SIM, também do mesmo tipo e provedor. Eu também tentei fazer com que o modem funcionasse em mais dois computadores, uma (próxima) nova instalação do Ubuntu 16.04 e uma instalação do Ubuntu 17. O comportamento é o mesmo em ambos. Até agora não testei com cartões SIM de outros provedores, tentarei fazê-lo o mais rápido possível.
Existe alguém que possa ajudar ou conhecer o problema? Muito obrigado pela sua ajuda. Martin
