Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu 16.04 no meu Acer Aspire 4752G e não consigo trabalhar com Wi-Fi.
Meu controlador de Wi-Fi é:

Baseado nisso ( link ) eu habilitei o módulo ath9k com modprobe ath9k
Isso fez com que o dispositivo wifi phy1 aparecesse:

Mas parece difícil bloquear. Não consigo encontrar nenhum switch de hardware no laptop e não há nenhuma opção para ativá-lo / desativá-lo no BIOS.
