Eu corro:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install fail2ban
sudo cp /etc/fail2ban/jail.conf /etc/fail2ban/jail.local
Sem ativar nenhuma cadeia ou qualquer outra coisa:
sudo systemctl restart fail2ban
