Ubuntu 17.10 demora muito para inicializar

Question

Comprei um Samsung EVO 850 SSD (256 GB) 5 meses atrás e tenho lutado muito com os tempos de inicialização.

Meu computador:

• Asus ROG GL752VW
• CPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQ
• GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M
• RAM: 16 GB DDR4
• Armazenamento: HDD de 256 GB SSD / 1 TB

Eu fiz uma inicialização dupla entre o Windows 10 e o Ubuntu 17.10. Instalei pela primeira vez o Windows 10 (SSD de 200 GB) sem problemas. Eu tentei entrar no Windows 10 e eu só tive que esperar 4 segundos para começar a configurar o sistema. Então, eu inicializei no Ubuntu Live e instalei o Ubuntu 17.10 ao lado do Windows 10.

Eu sempre tenho problemas com minha Nvidia no Ubuntu tentando desligar ou reiniciar, então eu editei / etc / default / grub e mudei: %código% para GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

Depois disso, eu instalei drivers da Nvidia:

sudo apt-get purge nvidia-*
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-387
