16.04 incapaz de autenticar para wifi

Question

Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu 16.04 em um Acer Aspire S e tudo está funcionando bem, exceto o wifi. Posso me conectar a pontos de acesso abertos, mas quando eu autentico no meu roteador WPA2 em casa, ele falha.

Isto é com um Atheros QCA6174 ...

Nunca tive nenhum problema em me conectar com meus outros sistemas Ubuntu. Aqui está o modprob ...

Parece que autentica com sucesso, mas depois se autentica logo depois? Tentei substituir meu / lib / firmware / ath10k como mencionado no link mas isso fez com que meu wireless parasse de funcionar inteiramente, então reverti essas alterações .

Infelizmente estou um pouco perplexo. Ajuda apreciado!

Descobri isso. A autenticação WPA funciona com outros roteadores, mas não com o roteador que tenho em casa. Para ficar claro ...

• WPA com outros roteadores funciona.
• O WPA com meu roteador doméstico funciona usando o Windows.
• O WPA com meu roteador doméstico funciona com outros sistemas Ubuntu.
• O único problema é o firmware Atheros do Ubuntu e esse roteador específico.

Estranho, mas fácil de corrigir. É um roteador antigo de qualquer maneira. :)
