Wifi constantemente desconectando em 16.04

Question

Eu sei que existem dez milhões de perguntas sobre wifi, mas não consigo encontrar nenhuma que corrija meu problema, e a linha entre o Ubuntu e o retorno ao Windows depende da solução desse problema. Então, peço desculpas pela duplicata, mas é um último esforço.

Da mesma forma que outros, meu wifi tem um sinal incrivelmente fraco, desconecta-se com frequência e parece ter uma conexão perfeita se eu desconectar e reconectar imediatamente, só por um momento.
