Estou tentando instalar o Ubuntu 14.04 (64 bits) junto com o Windows 10 com uma placa-mãe com capacidade UEFI (Asus Z87-Pro) em um novo SSD. No entanto, minha instalação trava no estágio de Preparando para instalar o Ubuntu .
Tomei os seguintes passos para chegar a este ponto:
- Usou o Rufus para carregar o ISO do Ubuntu 14.04 (64 bits) em uma unidade flash USB
- Disabled safeboot / fastboot no BIOS
- Inicialize com a opção "Experimentar o Ubuntu" do GNU GRUB com a opção nomodeset

Eu analisei e experimentei soluções de várias outras postagens do fórum, incluindo as seguintes:
Eu tentei diferentes configurações de conectividade com a Internet. Eu também tentei várias abordagens com o SSD não formatado, como formatá-lo antes da instalação ou experimentá-lo sem formatá-lo. Eu também tentei o truque sugerido a partir do primeiro link de usar
ps -ef | egrep "dosfsck|ntfs"
mas sem sucesso. Ele não parece fazer uma diferença perceptível ao escolher a opção de inicialização "Instalar o Ubuntu" em oposição a "Tentar o Ubuntu" - deixei as duas opções em execução por longos períodos de tempo, e nenhum progresso parece ser feito em qualquer momento.
