Estou tentando conectar um dispositivo Promise SANLink2 Thunderbolt-2-to-10-GbE-Ethernet a um ThinkPad da Lenovo rodando o Ubuntu 16.04. O sistema não reconhece as interfaces Ethernet duplas no dispositivo. Se eu olhar para dmesg depois de conectar o dispositivo, vejo o seguinte:

lspci mostra os dispositivos de ponte PCI que aparecem quando eu conecto o SANLink2, mas ele não mostra nada anexado a essas pontes. Você pode ver a saída lspci -vvxxxx completa .
Encontrei menções de problemas semelhantes em outros rastreadores de bugs de distro , mas não há soluções que ajudem meu problema. Eu tentei o kernel principal mais recente (v4.7) para ver se alguma correção de bug recente teve um efeito, mas vejo o mesmo comportamento.
