Aceleração gráfica de hardware no Asus E403S

Question

Comprei um Asus E403S e imediatamente coloquei nele o Ubuntu 16.04 GNOME, este pc tem uma CPU Pentium N3700 e nenhuma placa de vídeo, estou imaginando se é normal que animações CSS como uma simples transição de tamanho de fonte tenham lag com este hardware ou eu só preciso instalar algum tipo de driver para fornecer um melhor retorno gráfico.

Sinto muito pela questão newbe, sou extremamente nova no Ubuntu, espero que a sm1 possa ajudar.

Eu tenho o mesmo notebook e, quanto a mim, a aceleração 2d / 3d está funcionando sem problemas com o xubuntu 16.04. Eu experimentei muito atraso com o Firefox, e falhas visuais com cromo, mas depois de uma mudança de método de aceleração de SNA para UXA, o cromo parece ser bom. (SNA é o padrão neste caso, sem um arquivo de configuração).

Edite (ou crie) /etc/X11/xorg.conf da seguinte forma: (ugh, não pode formatar, deve ser uma tabulação antes de cada linha, exceto a primeira e a última).

Reinicie o GDM / XDM / LightDM / etc. e espero pelo melhor! :)
