Eu uso um dispositivo de compartilhamento USB Aten 2-Port para compartilhar mouse e teclado entre dois computadores. No Ubuntu 14.04 isso funcionou bem, mas depois de atualizar para o Ubuntu 16.04 meu mouse Steelseries Kinzu V2 não está mais funcionando.
O teclado, incluindo o trackpad, ainda funciona e o mouse funciona quando conectado a uma porta USB separada do computador, ou seja, sem usar o dispositivo de compartilhamento. Usando xinput
