Script não iniciado na inicialização

Eu tenho o seguinte script em /etc/init.d/minecraft :

O problema é que ele não roda na inicialização, o que é estranho porque quando eu digito depois o sudo service minecraft start não funciona ". Eu obviamente fiz

sudo update-rc.d minecraft defaults

O que parece ser o problema ou como posso pelo menos obter alguns registros

Supondo que você está usando uma versão do ubuntu baseada em upstart, tente:

sudo update-rc.d minecraft enable

Upstart logs são armazenados em / var / log / upstart / * você pode verificar lá se o acima não funcionar.

Uma opção é escrever um script um pouco menos complicado e iniciá-lo em /etc/rc.local :

bash /home/username/minecraft.sh &> /dev/null &

Esta é uma opção / método alternativo se você não conseguir que o serviço funcione.
