Tenho fones de ouvido Bluetooth que costumavam funcionar com meu Ubuntu 16.04, mas pararam de funcionar após a atualização do sistema.
Agora meus fones de ouvido estão funcionando apenas no modo fone de ouvido, mas quando tento mudar para o A2DP, ele muda, mas não há som algum.

Parece que não há pacotes relacionados, mas isso fez com que meus fones parassem de funcionar.
Eu segui algumas instruções em este tópico e reinstalei bluez, pacotes pulseaudio, mas isso não me ajudou.
