E no meu próprio sistema Xenial eu usei:

E no Xenial isso instala:

native2ascii (GNU Classpath) 0.99
A busca por esse nome específico de aplicativo no Ubuntu é dificultada, já que o Xenial usa gnative2ascii-5
com alguma update-alternatives
de manipulação:
