Algumas aplicações não podem aparecer no Painel no Ubuntu 16.04

Nautilus, gedit, gvim, LibreOffice, Audacious e gimp não têm nenhum menu de aplicativo para que eu não consiga encontrar arquivos, editar, etc. Mas o Google Brower, o Firefox e o Okular estão ok.

Quando executo o comando sudo service lightdm restart , esses aplicativos são exibidos normalmente. Eu escrevo o comando em /etc/rc.local e ~/.profile , mas é inútil.

O problema ocorre depois que eu instalo o gvim.
Eu executo estes comandos para instalar o gvim:

tar xvf vim-7.4.tar.bz2
cd  ./vim74/src
sudo apt-get install libncurses5-dev  
sudo apt-get install libgnome2-dev libgnomeui-dev libgtk2.0-dev libatk1.0-dev libbonoboui2-dev libcairo2-dev libx11-dev libxpm-dev libxt-dev 
./configure --enable-gui=gtk2 --prefix=/home/pmsl/DeveloperTools/Vim
make
sudo make install

Eu tento reinstalar o ubuntu-desktop, unity, lightdm e remover o libncurses5-dev, o libgnome2-dev, o libgnomeui-dev, o libgtk2.0-dev, o libatk1.0-dev, o libbonoboui2-dev, o libcairo2-dev, o libx11- dev, libxpm-dev e libxt-dev.

Não consigo encontrar o problema pelo /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log .

Eu não gosto de executar manualmente o comando "sudo service lightdm restart" quando inicializo meu computador.

Por enquanto, você pode tentar mover a barra de menus para as janelas do aplicativo: link

Veja as instruções em "(ii) Mostrar menu na barra de título da janela".

Faça logoff, faça logon - funcionou para mim!

Eu escolhi ter a barra de menu na janela do aplicativo e ter a barra de menus sempre visível. Com a minha configuração, tenho o mesmo problema, exceto por uma diferença: tenho duas variantes diferentes. Um aplicativo (como o LibreOffice) está completamente ausente da barra de menus, ou um aplicativo (como o gnome-terminal) tem sua barra de menus duplicada. Ambos os problemas aparecem logo após a reinicialização e desaparecem se eu fizer logout e recuar. Isto é, completamente sem ajustar quaisquer configurações ou executar nenhum comando; logout logout simples cura o problema. Bem, para a maioria dos aplicativos - alguns aplicativos ainda apresentam sua barra de menus dobrada ocasionalmente.

Espero que alguém possa me dizer em qual parte do sistema eu poderia apontar meu relatório de bug para, por enquanto, não tenho idéia de qual componente pode estar causando isso.

Como postado em outro fórum (não pode receber crédito), abra uma janela de comando e digite o seguinte comando:

reinicie o unity-panel-service

Isso funcionou para mim - pelo menos até que uma correção mais permanente seja feita.
