Não foi possível iniciar a instância que está no estado "error"

Não foi possível iniciar a instância, recebendo o seguinte erro.

$ nova reboot <instance-name>

$nova show <instance-name>

nova reboot --hard Instance_Name

funcionou para mim.

Depois de digitar este comando, recebi

Request to reboot Server ( Server:Instance_Name) has been accepted. 

Minha instância começou a ser executada novamente.
