Eu tentei seguir este guia e flash Ubuntu toque no meu Nexus 4. Depois de executar:
ubuntu-device-flash touch --channel=ubuntu-touch/stable/ubuntu --bootstrap
mas a ferramenta trava assim:

nada mais acontece por horas. Eu tentei ferramentas de recuperação diferentes, mas nada mudou. Posso "manualmente" atualizar o Ubuntu com o zip de instalação?
Apenas faça ubuntu-device-flash --clean-cache touch e tente novamente.;)
Isso limpará o cache da ferramenta ubuntu-device-flash. Isso causa a ferramenta para baixar a imagem inteira novamente. Para mim isso ajudou algumas vezes, quando tive problemas durante o flash do meu dispositivo.
A opção --bootstrap é normalmente usada apenas ao instalar o Ubuntu pela primeira vez . Isso requer que o dispositivo seja inicializado no bootloader. Depois que o Ubuntu é instalado, um usa o comando ubuntu-device-flash (sem a opção --bootstrap) enquanto o dispositivo é inicializado no Ubuntu
