Sou um novo usuário do Linux. strong usuário do Windows, mas não programador. Instalei o Ubuntu 14.04.4 no meu antigo Dell Inspiron 1501. Não consigo me conectar à minha rede doméstica via Ethernet ou Wi-Fi. Eu não sou capaz de ativar o wifi.
sudo lspci
O resultado é:

Eu só preciso do firmware-b43-installer? Se sim, como posso obtê-lo em um drive USB e instalar a partir daí?

mas recebeu e cometeu um erro que não pôde acessar broadcom-wl-5.10.56.27.3_mipsel.tar.bz2
do espelho.
Eu tenho broadcom-wl-5.10.56.27.3_mipsel.tar.bz2
no meu drive USB, mas não sei como fazer o instalador usá-lo.
