apt-get + dpkg depois de compilar e instalar o minidlna a partir da fonte

Estou executando o 14.04.1. Eu segui este guia para compilar e instalar o miniDLNA da fonte um tempo atrás. Desde então, quando executo o sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y , recebo o seguinte erro após a conclusão:

dpkg: error processing package minidlna (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Como posso fazer com que apt-get e dpkg sejam compatíveis com minha instalação personalizada? Eu compilei .deb packages e os instalei sem esse erro antes, por que esse problema poderia estar me causando problemas?
