Acabei de atualizar para 14.04 a partir de 13.10. Após o upgrade, o NIS parou de funcionar. Eu entrei, verifiquei as configurações ( hosts, yp.conf, nsswitch
) - tudo parece estar configurado corretamente. Mas ... não consigo mais encontrar /etc/init.d/nis
. Quando tento instalar o nis, vejo isto:
root@crab:~# apt-get install nis
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package nis is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
hostname:i386 hostname
E: Package 'nis' has no installation candidate
Aqui está a saída de apt-cache policy
