Eu já vi esse construído no Mac OS X no dicionário do Ubuntu , a resposta da pergunta, mas o goldendict não é mais compatível com o 14.04. Suas dependências não podem ser resolvidas devido à versão mais antiga.
O MAC OSX tem uma boa interface de dicionário que pode fazer muitas coisas quando passamos uma palavra em qualquer lugar, seja no navegador, no pdf ou em qualquer documento, ele pesquisa os dados do dicionário e também se é possível online.
O Ubuntu tem esse aplicativo ou software?
