Eu encontrei uma maneira de alternar manualmente usando o seguinte comando:
usb_modeswitch -v 0x12d1 -p 0x1446 -s 5 -M 55534243000000000000000000000011060000000000000000000000000000 , mas se comporta de alguma forma instável - às vezes, volta para o modo de CD-ROM após 5-10 minutos.
Também tentei adicionar as seguintes linhas a /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf :
DefaultVendor= 0x12d1
DefaultProduct= 0x1446
MessageContent="55534243000000000000000000000011060000000000000000000000000000"
MessageEndpoint=0x01
CheckSuccess=5
O modem GSM liga a inicialização do sistema sem problemas, mas depois de suspend / resume, volta ao modo de CD-ROM ...
Eu quero que usb_modeswitch funcione e como eu sei, ele deve funcionar dessa maneira. Eu encontrei o seguinte post no fórum do ubuntu: Huaawei E398 não utilizável com o Ubuntu 14.04LTS e esse problema se parece com o meu e repete apenas no Ubuntu 14.04 mas não está resolvido.
