Eu tenho executado com sucesso uma configuração de três monitores com meu ThinkPad W530.
De repente, em algum momento nos últimos dias, o comando parou de funcionar e congela.
Eu ativaria o (s) monitor (es) usando o indicador thinkdisp (aproximadamente equivalente a executar modprobe bbswitch e optirun true ) e, em seguida, executar intel-virtual-output . O (s) monitor (es) mostrariam a imagem de fundo, mas eu não poderia fazer mais nada a não ser mover o mouse.
Verificando a partir de tty1 Eu pude ver que intel-virtual-output ainda estava rodando, matando não alterou nada, apenas matando o Xorg adicional desligou o (s) monitor (es) externo (s) mas não trouxe de volta a tela embutida para ser responsivo.
A última atualização do pacote (de acordo com o histórico do Synaptic) foi

mas isso já é há algumas semanas e tenho certeza que está funcionando desde então. Parei de compilá-lo a partir do código-fonte, pois ele parecia estar incluído no pacote agora.
Eu uso nvidia-340 de ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa (346 não funcionaria da última vez que tentei).
