servidor de rack não será iniciado

Question

Sou iniciante em ruby e rack; tentando iniciar um servidor em rack e o comando rackup config.ru não faz nada.

agora mesmo meu arquivo rackup é

#!/usr/bin/env ruby

require "rack"
Rack::Server.start

E o arquivo config.ru é

require "#{File.dirname(__FILE__)}/../testrequest"

Examinei alguns recursos ou perguntas on-line aqui, mas nada ajudaria. Obrigado, se alguém puder sugerir as alterações nesses arquivos ou o que fazer.
