Eu tentei instalar o LibreOffice através do centro de software, mas ocorreu um erro e a instalação falhou. Agora é mostrado como "instalado" no centro de software, enquanto na verdade não é. Eu percebi que era porque eu tenho o OpenOffice4.1.1 instalado. Tentei remover o OpenOffice, mas até agora nenhum dos comandos que encontrei em nenhum dos fóruns da Internet funcionou.
O centro de software agora está preso em um loop de reparo e não consegue reparar o problema causado pelo OpenOffice. Agora meu laptop não pode atualizar nem instalar outro software. Eu removi manualmente todos os arquivos do LibreOffice em um terminal e esperava que isso parasse o processo, mas é claro que não. Alguém poderia me informar como eu poderia parar o processo de instalação do LibreOffice por enquanto? Agradecemos antecipadamente.

Depois disso, repare sua instalação:
sudo apt-get install -f
Basta executar este comando:
sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-core libreoffice-common python3-uno libreoffice-*
como libreoffice e openoffice usam o mesmo soffice, então o erro está lá.
Isso funcionou para mim:
sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-core libreoffice-common unoconv python3-uno libreoffice-*
Parece que o unoconv quebrou alguma coisa e impediu de remover seu próprio pacote que depende do libreoffice.
