Isso parece estranho. Pegue um programa C ++ simples
#include <cmath>
#include <iostream>
int main(void) {
std::cout << "Square root of 9 is " << sqrt(9) << std::endl;
}
que passa bem com g++
(4.8), mas não compila com clang++
(3.3).
edd@don:/tmp$ g++ -o cmath cmath.cpp
edd@don:/tmp$ ./cmath
Square root of 9 is 3
edd@don:/tmp$ clang++ -o cmath cmath.cpp

Eu suspeito que estou sentindo falta de algo óbvio.
E eu tenho o pacote -dev
relevante:
edd@don:/tmp$ COLUMNS=72 dpkg -l | grep "clang\|llvm"

Edit: Eu não tinha checado o Bug Tracking System, isso está em de fato conhecido no Launchpad .
Editar 2: No Ubuntu 16.10, finalmente funciona:
edd@max:~/src/progs/C++(master)$ clang++ -o cmath cmath.cpp
edd@max:~/src/progs/C++(master)$ ./cmath
Square root of 9 is 3
edd@max:~/src/progs/C++(master)$
usando clang++
versão 3.8.1.
