Estou executando um Ubuntu 13.04. Eu tinha o Chrome e o Firefox instalados e o primeiro não carrega a maioria dos sites. Não há proxy e desativei o firewall. Eu me conecto à internet diretamente através da porta ethernet. O computador está no escritório, não tenho acesso a nenhum outro hardware (roteadores e o tipo).

Alguma idéia do que pode estar errado?
Eu já tentei isso:
navegadores estão atrasados para carregar algumas páginas da Web
sem nenhum efeito.
