bonding está em /etc/modules para carregamento automático na inicialização
A configuração de ligação funciona em bond-mode 0 , mas não em bond-mode 6

Quando o sistema inicializa bond0 aparece com apenas eth0 como escravo
eth1 não está ativo no ifconfig, mas pode ser ativado ifconfig eth1 up
No entanto, mesmo depois de ter sido criado, não é escravizado em bond0
Tentativa de usar ifenslave bond0 eth1 resulta em Master 'bond0', Slave 'eth1': Error: Enslave failed
o syslog informa que bonding: bond0: Error: dev_set_mac_address of dev eth1 failed!
No entanto, eu posso usar ifconfig eth1 hw ether 123456789abc para definir o endereço MAC no adaptador (funciona em eth0 e eth1 )

Eu achei que tinha que adicionar:
bond-slaves eth0 eth1
para o meu arquivo de interfaces para obter ligação para trabalhar no modo de backup ativo (ao contrário das instruções no site de documentação do Ubuntu ...)
Agora estou tentando obter um dos modos de ligação mais complicados (e úteis) (como balance alb) funcionando ...
