Eu baixei o snapshot de desenvolvimento de evolução deste link: link e agora tenho problemas para compilar o código-fonte. Eu estou usando o Ubuntu 14.04 e esta versão da evolução precisa de pacotes mais novos que não estão disponíveis no repositório do Ubuntu 14.04 (pelo menos eu não encontrei).
Como posso encontrar e instalar essas dependências sem estragar meus pacotes?

Consegui resolver esse problema. Primeiro instalei o máximo de dependências possível usando
sudo apt-get build-dep evolution
Então ainda havia algumas dependências que eram por causa dos novos pacotes requeridos que eu instalei usando o ppa neste endereço: link
Depois, com sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade o problema ./configure foi resolvido.
