incapaz de instalar o servidor mysql no Ubuntu [fechado]

Question

o erro que encontrei durante a atualização no Ubuntu 11.10. desde que eu descobri que o Ubuntu 11.10 suporta muito melhor do que o 12.04 para o matlab, eu reiniciei meu sistema operacional para o Ubuntu 11.10. E mesmo aqui, eu enfrento o mesmo problema. Eu sinto que isso deve ser um problema de onírico

O SQL Server requer que o sistema operacional Microsoft Windows seja executado. Não há como instalar o SQL Server no Ubuntu. Isso só pode acontecer usando alguma forma de VM.

Verifique se você tem atualizações importantes de segurança marcadas.

O Ubuntu Oneric (11.10) está em fim de vida há muito tempo, e os repositórios não existem mais nele em link

12.04 é a versão mais antiga com vida de suporte decente restante. 10.04 ainda tem alguns meses de suporte para a versão do servidor, mas eu recomendo 12.04 ou 14.04 se você puder usar qualquer um desses.

Como já foi dito, o Ubuntu Oneric é EOL, portanto seus repositórios oficiais não são mais mantidos. Mas se você deseja continuar usando os repositórios oficiais não mais atualizados, você pode mudar seus repositórios atuais (não mais disponíveis, e isso é a causa do erro) para aqueles hospedados em old-releases.ubuntu.com executando o seguinte comando; ele atualizará seu /etc/apt/sources.list atual para usar os repositórios não mais atualizados:

sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.backup && sed 's/http:\/\/.*\.ubuntu\.com/http:\/\/old-releases\.ubuntu\.com/' /etc/apt/sources.list.backup | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list

Depois disso, você pode executar sudo apt-get update para atualizar o apt cache seguido de sudo apt-get install mysql-server para instalar mysql-server .

Detalhamento do comando:

• sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.backup : renomeia /etc/apt/sources.list para /etc/apt/sources.list.backup
• sed 's/http:\/\/.*\.ubuntu\.com/http:\/\/old-releases\.ubuntu\.com/' /etc/apt/sources.list.backup : substitui qualquer string que começa com http:// e termina com .ubuntu.com com http://old-releases.ubuntu.com dentro de /etc/apt/sources.list.backup
