Aqui está o negócio e a razão pela qual estou pedindo sua ajuda. Ontem à noite eu fui em atualizar minha instalação do Xubuntu 12.10 para 13.04, então em tty1 eu corro o comando
sudo do-release-upgrade
e tudo pareceu correr bem, exceto que após a reinicialização e quando eu corro
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Eu recebo este erro:

Eu tive o mesmo problema e tentei colocar os comandos em Qusetion várias vezes.
Não tenho certeza, mas acho que funcionou após a remoção de todos os pacotes de instalação por:
sudo apt-get clean -f
agora ele está recebendo novas atualizações:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
